The Flame is the perfect hybrid jacket for high-intensity activities in the mountains - even in the harshest conditions. Thanks to a hybrid construction, insulated panels are strategically combined with panels in fleece so as to ensure protection on the front without compromising top-notch breathability on the back and in the underarm areas. The front of the jacket and the side panels of the sleeves are made of Air-tastic, an ultra-lightweight nylon fabric that provides wind protection and water repellency, while the insulation is in lightweight and breathable Polartec Alpha. The back and the sleeve panels facing the body are made of an innovative fleece that, while promoting body moisture wicking, thanks to the DWR finish provides good water protection and helps against the elements. The bottom panel on the back is made from HP 3D fabric, our preferred choice for midlayers, as this fabric is capable of guaranteeing extraordinary breathability.
